PhysiotherapyNZ (Sumner)

The key focus of PhysiotherapyNZ is to ensure quality, professional treatment and injury management for our clients. We employ highly qualified and experienced staff, use modern equipment, have long treatment sessions and work closely with our clients to ensure their complete needs are met.

Business Description

Earthquake Update: We are fully operational, with a full complement of skilled phyisotherapists available. However, there have been forced changes to our infrastructure. The Ferrymead Clinic in the Les Mills building is now closed. By way of replacement we have phyisotherapists based in Contours gym and at the Ferrymead Medical centre. The Lyttelton Clinic at the Stables is also closed for repairs. Clients from there are able to be treated either in Sumner or Ferrymead.
Our Sumner physiotherapy clinic is open and has a complete workout gym available for all current clients. We still offer a complete vocational rehabilitation programme and full physiotherapy services. We are able to assist in home physio treatments if unable to get to one of our clinics. Our phone numbers and emails remain the same.

Elena Saltis

Elena is the owner and director of PhysiotherapyNZ. She hails from the USA, graduating in physiotherapy from the Ohio State University. She has extensive experience in orthopaedics, sports medicine and spinal rehab and is an authority on shoulder and knee post operation rehabilitation.

Elena is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist and loves treating animals requiring physiotherapy.

PhysiotherapyNZ believes that it is important to be involved in our local community, as such, we are the selected team physio’s for both the Sumner and Lyttelton rugby clubs.

We also realise that not everyone that needs treatment can make it to a clinic. We therefore offer home and rest-home visits. These can be arranged through either Sumner or Ferrymead.

Our aim is to be a happy, up-to-date team providing the highest quality care in a comfortable, relaxed and stress free environment.
