Our teachers are all professionals, dedicated to the internal and external energetic arts of Yoga and Qigong. Our philosophy revolves around the principle that the truth has many paths, which is reflected in the eclectic range of teachings we offer. Our goal is to educate, encourage and empower those seeking to improve their quality of life.

Mark Bouckoms

Mark Bouckoms has been practising and imparting the skills of Yoga and Qigong for over 25 years. He has studied with masters in India and China, including Natanaga Zhander (Shandor Remete), founder of Shadow Yoga, B. K. S. Iyengar and Li Jun Feng, founder of Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong. Mark is recognised for his ability to understand the practitioner’s needs and unique requirements, working adeptly with students of all ages and abilities. Through his own interest in sport he has introduced Yoga to many of New Zealand’s top athletes and national teams.

Mark is also a qualified practitioner of the related healing arts of Naturopathy and Bodywork. He has co-taught Yoga teacher training programmes and meditation retreats in New Zealand and internationally.

Mark’s interest in cultivating the inner intelligence and building our life force has led him to study different energetic systems from around the world. He offers a rich blend of these principles in his teaching. The goal is to educate and empower those open to learning from the ancient and living traditions of Yoga and Qigong.

Olivia Glaussius

Olivia began teaching in 2002 and studied ‘yoga flow’ with Netfit in Australia, she now studies with I.Y.T.A. Olivia’s style is gentle, yet challenging, stimulating body and mind.

Doreen Lehmann

Doreen has been practising yoga for over ten years and is certified with I.Y.T.A. She believes that yoga symbolises respecting and honouring the body, and the connection to the mind. The practice has nothing to do with the performance of difficult postures, rather the connection we develop with ourselves.


We offer the following classes:
Beginners: An Introduction to the fundamental principles, integrating breathing, movement and alignment.
General: An open level class where the movements are refined. All levels welcome.
Personal Practise Programme: Ideal for people seeking an individual practise programme. Suitable for therapeutic applications and more advanced programmes. NB assessment required before attending class.
Qigong: Gentle, flowing movement that releases stress and strengthens the immune system, encouraging self-healing.
Shadow Yoga: Applies the principles of both Indian and Chinese energetic systems, building co-ordination, flexibility an strength.
Pregnancy Yoga: Special classes for those in pregnancy.


We offer therapeutic massage and bodywork of two varieties:
The relaxation treatment: firm, soothing pressure designed to release tension and improve circulation resulting in deep relaxation and well-being.
The deep tissue treatment: concentrated deep pressure designed to realign and balance muscular and connective tissue. Beneficial for specific injuries and tension areas.
